Our Story

Bon Appetite!

Nathalie and Lillian are a mother/daughter duo bringing something new to the Northern Virginia area that they hope stands out and serves as an inspiration to others. 

Nathalie attended culinary school in her twenties and worked professionally in the field for many years before staying home to care for her children.  Later, she returned to college to obtain her teaching degree and now works as a teacher.

Lillian, Nathalie’s oldest daughter, always enjoyed cooking with her mom, and they spent many hours making dishes and trying new foods at restaurants and shops.

As they traversed the area sampling cuisine, they noticed most baked goods were either too sweet and/or too big for their liking, and Lillian Nathalie Cake Studio was born.
